The registration period for a new top-level domain (TLD) in Indonesia formally opened on January 20, 2014, providing companies and individuals alike the opportunity to acquire so-called anything.id domain names. In particular, owners of Indonesian trademark registrations and/or current Indonesian domain names are recommended to take advantage of the designated priority periods and secure their desired .id domain before registration is opened to the general public.
